I've got just one.

This might have something to do with it.

Boy it's nervous sharing a safe with all those Mausers. Three of them really have it out for the lone Mosin too.

Damn sheep.  Very nice collection.  I'm Jealous.
In war, there are no winners or losers.  Just survivors. DR

Ol Relic

Since a lot of you guys are posting group shots, I decided I'd follow suit.  Problem is, I don't have any existing pics of multiple Mosins, so I had to take a fresh one.  And the problem with that is that we've sold one house and are waiting to close on another.  Soooo, my rifles are packed to maximize space (thereby minimizing accessibility).

Anyways, here's a group shot with 18 Mosins, including one each rare '46 (the laminate to the left front) and '45, a couple of original matching '43s, an original matching '44, a couple of Finned 91/30s, some ex-PUs and PEMs, and I'm not sure what else.   This is one compartment of one safe-it all starts with one.   ::) rofl

All this mosie talk lately's giving me the fever.

You know you have a Mosin problem when you can use that statement  :))

Alright I'll play. Here is one of my favorite Mosins. The nicest m38 you're ever likely to find. I've only managed to snap 3 pics of it in the 3 years I've owned it.

"You would last about an hour in Charlotte before the police were called bc you were walking around outside with a bottle of scotch and a g43."
-Ty O

"I don't appreciate you showing Nazi images. My old lady's granddad died at Auschwitz."
"I'm sorry to hear that..."
"Yeah...he fell off a guard tower."

I only have 4...well, 5 and 6 (M44's) are on the way  doh1  A plain Jane '42 Izhevsk, 2xT53's and a PU

1943 Izhevsk PU.  The PU stands for Putin's hunting rifle  :))

Did I mention the M38 I saw today with a $169 price tag?
C'mon... you know you wanna...

Did I mention I went ahead and picked this one up for myself? $170 OTDO!

Dannyboy53

Wow Oli, good looking old gal too!

bartski

I have a few... nothing rare or exceptional, but they are all fun!

The Chinese T53 has been sold.

1938 refurb, 1942 non-counterbored, 1945 M44 Sold as a hunting carbine and has been factory tested... I didn't know that was a thing.

Dannyboy53

Holy Cow bartski, those are beautiful!

Wow guys, some really nice rifles in this thread! I have just one Mosin and the only pic I have handy is with my '52 SKS and Sporter. The Mosin was a b-day gift from my buddy back when AIM had them for $89. For his b-day I got him a spam can of 7.62x54r ammo. I have been able to avoid Mosin #2 for several years now. Maybe because Mosin #1 was a gift and I didn't buy it myself, although I would love a M38 or M44 someday or even a nice PU Sniper.  :)

It's sad that the motto of young Americans isn't "live free or die" or "I regret that I have but one life to give for my country" or even "ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country". Instead their motto is "pee yourself, shelter in place and cry for help". Pathetic.

Dannyboy53

Carl that's a really nice mix you have!  thumb1

bartski

Some great Mosins in this thread! I'm jealous of the SVT-40s!

Forgot this pic of my M44 and it's SKS cousin.. almost identical in size.

Phosphorus32

I like the juxtaposition of the SKS-45 and the M/44! Russian carbines with two consecutive model year designations showing the difference a year can make  :)

Thanks guys, I'm really happy with both of them.. besides, who doesn't like a rifle that doubles as a flame thrower!?

The dreaded Mosinitius...You just can't help yourself  :)) The M-44 in particular has really grabbed my attention lately. ( Not that I'm not still trying for Finns GM...just something to tide me over while hunting them down  8) )

#1 & #2 are mixmaster Polish both 1952 and wearing Hungarian stocks.
#3 is my all matching 1955 Romanian. Full layout here... GM aka "The Enabler" strikes again!...or My matching Romanian M44 in Mosins & Soviet Arms - Page 1 of 1

#4 I just got at my 1st live gun auction. 1944 Izzy M-44 with early features, high wall receiver and a war time stock. Still learning bout this 1 but its an all matching ( no line outs) Refurb that's been counter bored.

C'mon RM....Ya'Know ya wanna.... rofl
