I said I was an addict........I didn't say I had a problem

Worm

 :o HOLY mother of mosin.

Wow. That is a sick collection man.

running-man

Carl, you have issues.  :P

If I bought a Mosin, I'd have those very same issues!  This is why I refuse to start!

"I said I was an addict. I didn't say I had a problem." is a pretty appropriate sig line :)

Don't fear it,  :o rofl

Good point Greasemonkey!

From what I am seeing and hearing a lot of non-collector average shooters like me are buying the Mosin and SKS. Their popularity doesn't seem to be diminishing with time. It might have started out with many of them because it was an inexpensive rifle/carbine to hunt, target shoot and protect the family with. However it appears from their comments they are finding out these old shooters are a great addition to the family arsenal and still has a lot to offer. That hasn't changed over the years!

Blicero

Pssh. No Sestroryetsk? No Remington?
I'm not impressed. Work on it.  rofl

I'll throw this out there- M91s shoot every bit as well as the 39s.
"I reject your suggestion."

"You would last about an hour in Charlotte before the police were called bc you were walking around outside with a bottle of scotch and a g43."
-Ty O

"I don't appreciate you showing Nazi images. My old lady's granddad died at Auschwitz."
"I'm sorry to hear that..."
"Yeah...he fell off a guard tower."

Which is equally poor? rofl

I'm just wondering how many small mallets GM has to be able to cycle all those sticky bolts!

Ok, ok I'm done making fun of those boat anchors. (For now). Still not feeling the allure though, this is a good thing! thumb1

They are close, in this bunch, the '44 VKT is the top, followed closely by the M28. One little thing I've found with the M39s, they are very close to a K31, they also respond to barrel band tightness, not too tight and not too loose. The one other nice thing about the M39 is the sight setup when compared to the M91.

And Finland didn't make a Sestroryetsk or Remington rofl2

And I done told ya, no hammers needed for any of them thumb1

I've got just one.

This might have something to do with it.

Boy it's nervous sharing a safe with all those Mausers. Three of them really have it out for the lone Mosin too.

Nice  thumb1

Thats ok, Sheepy, imagine how my M/94 and M/96 Swedes feel in the safe with the Mosins. rofl  But, with most being Finnish, there may not be too much problem.

Fifth from the right, a 1922 SA marked M96. Something about a Winter War. The Mosin really needs to watch out for that one.
