Uh?  Type 53 with a blade, or a Type 56 with a blade?  Type 53 Mosins were are all spike bayonet.

Nice Chinese pistol collection    I just have the one Tok (Romanian TTC) but I like it a lot.  I should pick up a T54 before their value climbs any higher.  What's the difference between the 54式 and 54-1式?

Here's a tip to file under the "useless information" category (sub-category, "timing is everything"): Allan's Armory had some T53s yesterday for $125-155 but I just checked and they're all gone

These are the ones I have right now. A '38, '28, two '43s, and a '68 I'll add a M91 and PU eventually.

Thanks man  I just recently got my 1st Romanian TT-C ( 1953) and wow....The bluing is deep and overall 1 gorgeous Tok. Basically the T54 is military and no safety and hard to find ( as far as I've found so far...They'll be bring backs if you can find 1 ). The Model 54-1 has the added safety and made/re-arsenaled  for import.

My latest Mosin, a minty Romanian M44.  The finish on the receiver and barrel shank is like glass. Shiniest Mosin bolt I've ever seen.  The tolerances seem tighter, the bolt doesn't flop about like a catfish on a river bank when you pull it back, like on some of my Russians.  Trigger pull is a consistent 4 lb 11 oz.  Not crisp but predictable and smooth. Cugir really built a quality product.  I almost (almost) dislike having rifles in this condition, because I hesitate to fire it 

I may have to take it out tomorrow and break it in

Hey Phos, Minty barely covers that 1...It is gorgeous. The Bluing ( when strong) on Romanian arms, Is so deep and rich. Congrats man ,That's as nice as they come.

Been meaning to get a pic of my 53 Tok and 55 M44 as well. I'm tempted to get a few more TT-C, They are gorgeous. I'm working on a Romanian line up... TT-C, Romanian M44, ( insert Romanian SKS here), Romak-1, and a WASR-10. The SKS  has been the hardest to find so far but I'm patient.

Now if I can get my wallet to line up with a T-53, I'll be doing good. Didn't have the funds on those VERY affordable 1's from Allen's, that went in less than 24 hrs.

Hey Surge sounds like you need to toss an offer out and just get all 3 of those mosins at once.....
