I think that knowing that Westrifle is selling two '49s that aren't quite as nice as yours for CAD$650 (http://westrifle.com/wrstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=20&products_id=1991
http://westrifle.com/wrstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=20&products_id=2039) I'd say you have something fairly special there.  In the states that rifle is likely $2k to maybe $5k when the buyer and seller both know what it is.  I don't think we are going to be able to tell you exactly what the Canadian market will bear, but I bet .ca prices will continue to increase as long as the supply is disrupted.

some 1949s sold by Westrifle do look weird. I looked through some online Russian SKS pictures I saved earlier and found this 1949 (Serial number: EУ41). It still has correct Russian spike bayonet but the stock and ferrule are for blade bayonet. The buttstock is stamped Tula star, 1949 г, and 41 without Cyrillic prefix. What's going on??

There's definitely something going on there, I've found many descrepancies in westrifle's guns too. So much so that I've purged many of them from the database as they are simply unreliable specimens. There were some that even showed up with a Tula star cartouche on the stock and a '1956' date underneath them on a gun that was clearly an pre '54 specimen.  :-\

Not saying that WR is shady, maybe the Ukrainians are pulling a fast one on them?  Either way, a humped gun is a humped gun.  One of the unfortunate pitfalls that the Mauser, Garand, and Luger guys have learned to deal with that we as SKS guys will likely need to learn in the not so distant future.
