Like I said, 'ol school, yup, Glocks are, well, they are Glocks, 1911s are so-so, love my S&W Model 29, but, there is nothing more enjoyable than the crack of a primer cap, the instant boom and a massive cloud of smoke thumb1  The modern stuff is a no brainer, throw some rounds in the mag, insert mag and pop, pop, pop away. I never was much on blackpowder boom sticks, but the revolvers really tickled the primitive side of me.

Top is a Colt licensed Uberti Dragoon, it's a .44 caliber, and when loaded all out, packs 50grains of black powder, and weighs over 4 pounds. This is just slightly smaller than the Colt Walker, which max load was 60grains.
The second is a .36 caliber Colt Navy replica, a fine, very smooth shooting weapon.
The last is a .44 caliber with a 12 inch barrel, it sports an adjustable rear sight, had some trigger work done and it is shockingly accurate when the right mix is used.

I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

I said I was an addict........I didn't say I had a problem

I had an Uberti Clone of the Remington '58 once. Shot one cylinder through it and loved it, but didn't seem feasible to me at the time to keep it so I sold it to a civil war re-enactor friend.
My Avatar is a pic of the real "Ghost" SKS in honor of xxxsks(joe). It is a pic of a fully decked out SKS in Capco hunter's kit. This was mine, the only other pic I had ever seen of one was Joe's.

It's sad that the motto of young Americans isn't "live free or die" or "I regret that I have but one life to give for my country" or even "ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country". Instead their motto is "pee yourself, shelter in place and cry for help". Pathetic.

Charged with carbon, saltpeter and sulfur,
Belching fire, and spitting hot lead,
Sharp eyed pistoliers  are aiming,
To singe their brows and leave you dead.

Nice collection of smokers thumb1

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Very nice Greasemonkey, an impressive array! I too had a '58 Remington .44 reproduction, I was shocked at the accuracy these charcoal burners are capable of.
