Been a while since posting, but,  Life, ya know.  That said, here's this.  Picked up a 1957 with serial 349029 from a Not So LGS.  As seen in the pix it was bubba'd with a 30 rounder (USA Magazines).  That's getting changed out for 10 rounder (can't remember if the earlier mags had the straight or curled follower lifter arm).  My dilemma is this; sometime in the life cycle the stock was changed out from the blade bayonet cut to an unmarked spike bayonet cut stock.  Should I change the stock back to a blade cut (I have one that is unmarked) and try to find what's becoming a holy grail item, ie., a blade bayonet or keep the rifle as is since it was possibly re-furbed that way.
Any thoughts? TIA

Hey Bruce, that's a clean looking set up. That 2nd mag SN looks familiar, did you get that from me?  rofl  rofl

As for the stock, I have an unnumbered blade cut stock (cleaning kit in the butt) w/matching HG as well as a complete blade bayonet assembly, PM me if interested.
My Avatar is a pic of the real "Ghost" SKS in honor of xxxsks(joe). It is a pic of a fully decked out SKS in Capco hunter's kit. This was mine, the only other pic I had ever seen of one was Joe's.
