Consecutive serial number Cz82's

I'm a fan of Cz82s, these make 4 and 5, only these have consecutive serials.

Both made in '85. How you see them is how they came out the box, minus the annoying white plastic trigger have it inspected by a qualified gunsmith warning tags. Being from RTI, you kind of never know what you'll get, these said "good" bore, well I don't see much difference vs one I got years ago that was hand picked. Both have bright shiny bores, very clean, no storage lube or grease with the typical Cz82 finish wear. The holsters I'm not a huge fan of, and they both came with OE Czech 12rd mags. I do have to give some props, there's no gaudy import billboard, its done on the grip and it's small.

They were offered together, for not much more than purchasing 2. I'm not lucky enough to end up blindly getting consecutive numbers.

How is it getting the 12th round into those magazines? I usually only load 9 into the ten rounders when I'm shooting a lot because my thumbs get mighty tired!

How would RTI even know if a polyoganal rifled barrel is good vs excellent? If it's not pitted I wouldn't even know how to grade it.

Usually I just do 10, it's a nice round number, I have quite a few magazines, but like you my thumbs hurt after packing them. The last two are just to test typically. I have considered seeing if I could modify a Glock loading device.. maybe.

As for the barrels, that's a valid point, being chrome plated and polygonal, how does one decipher good from excellent? I don't remember anyone ever saying or even remotely mentioning their Cz82 bore sucked or was a sewer pipe.

GM RTI had these with a 12rd mags blocked to a 10rd for us poor folks in Ca. Ive wanted a cz 82 for years and now I have one headed to my local ffl for 10 days. The Ca were 10 bucks more for the labor probably but im not complaining. Hope the Ca guys dont see this and run them out because if it looks anything like your two im ordering another. Have you got out to shoot yours yet ?

Well yea, I put a mag thru both.

I have 2 or 3 of the 10rd mags mixed in my pile, they came with one I picked up in Maryland. That last round can be a test of patience, worse than the 12rd mag. Never actually bothered to find out the difference in them, they do have the Czech crossed swords on them. I have a 1987, a 1986 and 3 '85's now.

For the price.. go for another

If I knew I could get an '84 and/or an '83 for certain, I'd probably do it.

Of course you have a arsenal of them lol Ill have to see what year this one is and ill post it up when I get it. All I know is that for years Ive read everyone praising these things and ill FINALLY soon have my hands on one.

I saw that flash sale with free shipping too like on a Sunday morning. I got in on a few of those 49.00 flair gun flash sales also lol. look like a 10 ga pistol lol The only negative I guess is that it took 14 days for shipping. Not bad I guess since ill have the pistol the rest of my life : )

They've been 199 for a 12rd and 209 for the 10rd for a while. I never figured out their sales gimmick.. looking back thru I guess 500 RTI emails, the price hasn't changed over the last 2 or 3 months, but then to have a 1 day flash sale at the regularly posted price.. makes only sense to them I guess.

There was a few free shipping opportunities in there.. And looking at invoices, theyve never charged me sales tax.

Your spot on everything. Emails up the yang and once in awhile free ship for the 199.00 ers with 12 round mags. Think ill be happy with my purchase because they did go the extra mile for us in Ca, and the price 209 was well within reason. Ill post up when i get it. I bought a couple P64s maybe 7 8 years ago and was really satisfied with RTI.
