My Saiga AK Conversion

About 20 years ago, I bought one of the Saiga Sporter rifles and did the AK conversion on it. It was my first time doing it. (I later did the same with the Saiga S-12 shotgun).

At the time I was more into "tacticool" plastic, so I got the handguard reshaped and put the side-folding stock on it. Now I'm thinking I might go "old school" with some standard wood furniture.

I am fond of wood furniture on an AK but yours is certainly very functional. It's way better than the original SAIGA "let's try to make the AK look like a hunting rifle" stock
