Greetings from the Granite State! I've been collecting for a while, but just acquired my first SKS - which led me here.

I'm a 30-yr Navy veteran, former surface warfare officer (ship driver). Retired in 2017 in the DC area and wasted no time heading north.

Up until now, I've kept my collecting focus (about 100 pieces) on WWI and WWII. I recently expanded to include the Cold War (since I lived quite a bit of it), hence the SKS. (I posted about it in the Russian section - it's a 1952 Tula). I'm sure there will be more varieties coming!

Looking forward to learning more about the world of SKS's and AK's!
