It's been a while. I've been lurking around, but, I finally managed to nab a pristine 1958 Romanian Model 56. Numbers all match aside from the piston and gas tube:

Well done, very nice score of a difficult find. Are the gas bits numbered or blank? PAX

Thanks! The piston and gas tube are both electropenciled with different numbers.

Yep! The stock, magazine, trigger guard, dust cover, receiver, bolt & bolt carrier are all factory numbered and matching.
