All numbers matching , refurbed stock with correct numbers restamped.

I wouldn't complain about that deal one bit. You are lucky the previous owner kept all of the original parts, and you can sell off the aftermarket stuff to make your cost on the purchase even sweeter. Post up some pictures when you get her back together.

Hate to admit it but I am thinking I may put the stock on a Chinese model and trade it for a numbers matching Romanian.....
Then I just need an alby and I will be one happy old man

What kind of Chinese are you thinking of swapping to the Tapco?  Is the stock you're taking off useable or is it pretty much trashed?  I'm still lacking an Albanian/Albanian replacement to send to the lab for analysis.

The Chinese stock is in great shape, the guy with the Romy wanted to introduce it to Bubba. I have a few nonmatching Chinese rifles, I am hoping to save the Romy and add it to my collection.

Went through and put her back together, the handgaurd was a pain in the ass but she gave in.

So much better! It warms my heart to see a fine Russian SKS saved from bubba. I hope that deal you have lined up for the Romanian works out, that would be sweet!

I was on Gun Broker for the first time in months last night just for fun. It wasn't fun, prices are ridiculous and several bubba'd Russians almost made me cry. This one you saved helps me feel better.

Took her out to the range today and fired 40 rounds through her, I do enjoy shooting a nice Russian. She performed flawlessly.
I too am elateted I was able to save her.
Sold the scope and scope mount today for 100 bucks on Facebook so now I'm only into her for 300! Whoop!

I noticed today that my other 52 had a shiny chrome blade that's thicker than this dull gray one?
