Was hoping someone would buy it, so I didn't...   chuckles1 It's a James River Armory rebuild of a Beretta Garand, barrel is dated 1957, the bore measures just under 2.0 and is shiny, basically a new rebuild of a classic. It's not a Danish contract rifle, just a regular Italian model. It does have some very light receiver pitting and a little less just below the wood line, but not nearly enough or deep enough to be concerned about. The only 2 mismatched parts are the trigger group and op rod, both were replaced with SA parts.

I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

Very nice & interesting sir.  I'm sure it'll be a great shooter.

I love the Garands...when you hold one it feels substantial as though it will last forever.

Nice one GM! Very pretty gun indeed.

Are you self enabling?!  With the FN49 and now this one, I can't wait to see the nice G43 you wind up buying next!!!  rofl2

RM....  yeah.. I guess there has been some self enabling lately. a Cz50, 2 Garands and the SAFN..  also got one I said I provably never would..but secretly always coveted and wanted.. you know :o that same feeling towards Mosins you have........ an 1917 8x56r M95 Steyr carbine... another caliber cry1 ...but hey, I hear they are great for loosening tense shoulders.. rofl2

As for the G43.. been there, got that. thumb1 chuckles1

Nice Beretta.  I've never been able to get an Italian one, but I've built a few on the Danish receivers by both Beretta and Breda, usually in 7.62x51.  Still have a few PB and BMB parts left.

Ciao Bella! Good looking Italian Garand. The National Match front sight is a plus.
