Twinning! A pair of $289 Numrich FNH Hi Powers

I couldn't be more happy with my purchases.  Numrich really came through on these.  Received first pistol a few weeks back, was so happy with it I ordered a second.

First pistol is a 1985 manufacture.  It has big dot sights, plastic hand grips with thumb rest and a painted finish.
Second pistol is a 1983 manufacture.  It has a blued finish, wood hand grips and narrow GI sights.

So different yet so similar.

Righteous!! Man those are beautiful. I like the dot sights (I didn't know any HPs had them, I know my 1941 doesn't) but the one with the walnut grips is lights out gorgeous. Sell me those grips! Awesome guns, Adam, congrats.

Very different.  I love the classic looks of the '83    The '85 looks like a modern shooter with the 3 dot sights and ergo grips.  They should both be a heckuva lot of fun.  I'm wondering which you'll prefer as a shooter.  Nice pair, I mean, uh, nice score!

I'm thinking I'm going to like the mkII better for target practice. Everything about it makes it a better shooter.. But my heart belongs to the earlier one with those blued curves and walnut grips.
