Yeah, my interest isn't piqued at $1250

My issue with these are they are an inferior failure.  I wont be shooting one.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

That's a lot-o-bread, to just have it sit in a safe.

I paid $391 for my cast receiver 2 years ago, which at the time wasn't even a premium over a good matching Type 56. Granted, the listing was merely titled "Unusual Chinese SKS" so it probably wasn't clear to many observers that it was a cast receiver or that it was of special interest. Casts aren't quite as rare but are in the same category as the stamped receivers, a peculiar experimental variant that didn't pan out.

I do think the stamped receivers are interesting, but I'm not willing to pay 2.5x the current value of an equal condition Type 56. I might go 1.25x, or maybe 1.5x...definitely okay with never getting one too rofl

For some people rare automatically equates to $$.  If I was getting an SKS that I couldn't shoot, I'd go with a parade rifle. At least they look nice.  rofl

Looks like no one thought it was worth the doe at that price.  I wouldnt mind one for 600.00.

He relisted it a couple of times at that price, but no buyers.  ::)

In today's environment, he's not getting that price.

In fact, the golden age of surplus firearms prices shooting to the moon may take a bit of a hiatus if the stock market truly is the 6 to 12 month ahead predictor that many consider it to be.
