Ouch. Well, they aren't going down in price.

Yeah I was expecting $499 or something along those lines. Surprised they were priced at $699.99.

At least you can feel like you won an auction rofl plus tax ffl shipping.

No reach around or is that extra?   699...  :o I paid 169 for mine way back in the long time ago...
I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

I said I was an addict........I didn't say I had a problem

Greatguns

I bought my first one for $99 OTD, but that was in 2006. Still, I've seen them selling for more than $699 on GB so it's not a bad starting point (relatively speaking of course). Gives them room to drop it down for an "On Sale" price, IF they last that long.
My Avatar is a pic of the real "Ghost" SKS in honor of xxxsks(joe). It is a pic of a fully decked out SKS in Capco hunter's kit. This was mine, the only other pic I had ever seen of one was Joe's.

"THOSE ARE NOT YUGO'S THEY ARE RUSSIAN!!!! EVERYONE THINKS THAT CAUSE IT HAS A GRENADE LAUNCHER, IT'S RUSSIAN!!!" ... says the old timer at the gun show this past weekend.  :o chuckles1

I offered to flip him for his "Russian" and he wouldn't do it even with his "this guy told me it was a Russian" confidence.

Whew! The going price for one of these at my local gun shows is usually $650 out the door, so not far off the mark I guess. Of course, that’s not counting the shipping costs and taxes I’d have to buy if I ordered one from Atlantic.
I've got some oceanfront property in Arizona, you buy that I'll throw in the golden gate for free

Sold out!

That's crazy. Must be dealers on GunBroker.

If you watched their video, they had at least one large bin of them.  Enough to last a few days I'd think.  Bet we start seeing them listed soon for $800 with BIN of $999.

Local pawn shop has a few Chinese models - appear to be normal spike bayonets. They told me they go for 600 and Russians go for 800. Ouch.

Matching stock not guaranteed. Pass at 700+shipping.

If they lump all Russians into that $800 bin that'd be a good place to be visiting regularly, you might find an under-valued rare maker or year or no-, light-refurb

BMont

That didnt take long.  They did look nice... police trade in's....?

Cz315

I bet they came from the same place as those m48 Mausers. Do we know how the importer is on those?

Bacarnal

As a shameless plug, mine is cheaper by far on GB!! wink1 whistle12  plus, Drury's has one at around mine with 200 rounds of ammo.

Interesting...  Didn't think of it that way.  They are close to where I work, so I could keep an eye on them.

Of course I might not know enough about Russians to tell the real "deals" from the "not really a deal".

Direct Connection

Yeah that surprised me they sold so fast. And like Bacarnal said with his firearm and there are everyday deals out there better than that. Maybe the public needs to start making their own videos of their guns when listing. Seems like the only difference.

Could it have something to do with the fact they're still in cosmoline and straight from the importer, and majority of those on the second-hand market are not?

People might think they're getting the next closest thing to one of these brand new. When it's framed that way, who wouldn't want a new gun as opposed to one that's used and been floating around the second-hand stateside market for a few years?
