I recently relapsed due to being self enabled while browsing GunBroker. I know I shouldn't have, but at $465 out the door for any Russian SKS told my brain I had to buy it. I need help

Okay, so I bought another Russian SKS when I had been trying to sell another. SO SUE ME!! 

As is common with me, I bought it because I already had most of the parts needed to restore it.    Picked it up today and already swapped everything over and ordered a sling for it. Only down side ATM is my bayonet has an angled collar and the action is a 1951(I think from the SN).
Anyway here's a quick pic of it after the parts swap. More detailed pics are on the GB link. I latched onto another Russian hardwood stock on GB at a great price so I put it on the 1950 I was selling and put the blonde stock on this one as I needed a receiver cover as well so at least the 2 items match numbers. As for the action, all the other parts are matching and blued instead of the BBQ.

You weren't supposed to look at another Russian SKS crying out for some luv.   

All it needs is someone to help it return to its former glory as a proud rifle.  It doesn't want to be a hideous plastic fantastic.

How long can you turn away...?  Can you allow it to remain that way for another day....?  Can you???

Yep, what they did to the bayonet ruined it for me. Kind of reminds me of castrating pigs...they, and it, will never be the same.
