You could just get a can of undercoating and spray the whole thing....You know, give it that BUBBA look!! You could tell everyone it was the Soviet's SVT version of the SKS BBQ paint.

Russians used BBQ paint on refurb SVT-40 too.

Ran two mags though her yesterday as well as a couple mags through another one I was having problems with.  Both fired great on 1.5 setting with Russian and Hungarian Light ball and are accurate.  The Ka Chunk of the bolt operating takes some getting used to, though.

Are you sure it's a Ka Chunk and not a Ka Ch*nk?
