There are going to be two types of people in this world , those without toilet paper , and those with plenty of ammo to protect their toilet paper

Now that looks like a fun .22  thumb1

Interesting that it has F/S markings on both sides but only an indicator on the left. I wonder if they offered a lefty version with a safety lever on the right?

Havnt had it apart yet but my guess is the safety lever may be a either/or , just a matter of orientation when reassembling

From what I have read , Stoeger produced P08's during the war , held onto the Luger trademark and in the 60's decided to get back into the manufacture of arms , although a legit firearm were really more of a gimmick or novelty firearm , aluminum frame , the later examples had a enamel paint that chipped easily

I was impressed with the acuracy , crude sights , very thick front sight blade

Stoeger is wholly owned by Benelli, who now, is owned by Beretta. production of these started in '69 and in '85 it ceased. They used aluminum frames till 1980, then switched to steel.

And they can be picky about ammo.. some regular standard velocity ammo doesn't work well, it can short cycle the action, I've used Minimags without an issue.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.
