Everything he said I pretty much agree with.  Over 30k views in a couple days.  Wow.  Wonder if this will affect sks sales?

I watched that video yesterday, too! I liked it. The only thing I didn't agree with was his disdain for the AK-magazine conversion SKS's. Not really disdain, he just said he never had good experiences with them. I think it's all in the particular model and what mags you're trying to feed them. I don't have any luck trying to use Bulgarian Waffle mags in the AK-mag conversions, but they're Bulgy's in a Chinese gun. I use Chinese mags and they work great. Actually, I use 20rd. Hungarian "Tanker" mags and they work great, too. I haven't owned every model of the conversion guns, but they are pretty close in construction. The differences in mag catches would create some definite issues. (The MC-5D) I think you'd just have to figure out what works well in the one you have and keep with them.

Robski lives within an hour of me. I need to drive up and say howdy some time. I could use some good tips on the AK's!  thumb1 He hits pretty good with the SKS, as well! (Quite a bit better than these old eyes can!)

The only SKS30 type that I've found can use the "bakelite" and Magpul plastics is the Midwest Tactical "D".  Its mag well is large enough for them.  The Chinese makes that I've owned (never got hold of a Navy Arms) the mag well is only large enough to accept the steel mags.

Good video. Thanks Bmont!

Love listening to a guy with his accent talking about commie guns.
He, himself, is a pretty interesting guy with a really cool personal story.

As to the video, he pretty well sums it up for me. I've never fired an AK mag variant (yet) so I can't add to that bit.

Thanks for posting it.

I think he's a trustworthy guy for info. I've chatted with him a few times really helpful.

This is an old interview, but his early history hasn't changed. Definitely an interesting and entertaining guy.

Love to watch his videos when I need a good laugh!  His accent, combined with his way of delivering information is usually effective and funny at the same time.  Add to that to his knowledge and experience about his subject matter and that puts him high on my list of go to resources when looking for answers or solid opinions.
