Nice family portrait, lol. Glad to see you got them all finished and they're looking good.

My Avatar is a pic of the real "Ghost" SKS in honor of xxxsks(joe). It is a pic of a fully decked out SKS in Capco hunter's kit. This was mine, the only other pic I had ever seen of one was Joe's.

More than half of my collection has transformed into transfer of power mode.
I have been dusting off a lot of black plastic figuring out which are fit to which guns again, figuring out which receiver cover mounts are fit to which rifles, boresighting in 5 Red Star scopes, 1 PolyTech scope, 1 NC Star scope and one red dot (receiver mounted...I ain't stcupid) Locktited in my Scout Mounts mount...boresighted in the Norinco LER scope on that.  I really have a lot of fun with that borescope tool. :)

The guns with drop free bolt mods have duckbills the rest are factory mags...last week I had no folders set up, this week I have four....all with bayonets. I broke out my old heavily modified ATI Drag stock and resurrected my busted up 66 Classic...also with it's bayonet. My Sporter got a brand new Spanish scope mount that fit like a glove without any filing...which never happens.

I am on the fence as to use red or blue Locktite on my Krink brake on the Sporter...and I have a bolt to headspace left on the to do list.  I also have another new scope mount, but...ran out of scopes.  rofl

Glad to see I am not the only one who went full gonzo bubba in 'celebration' of our so functional govt.  tommy1

Justin...We can always go back stock.. !..Blue Loctite is good .. I spent about 2 hours with small files fitting the receiver cover with  a rail for the scoped gun. I've noticed that the Tapco stocks..like on Ebay ..are bringing a lot more than they ever did. These 5 join my Mini 14..and a Carbon Fiber Windham Weaponry AR..If that doesn't do it...we're ALL screwed !. I'm sure all of us have noticed the prices of ammo lately. Yesterday in WalMart...not a box...of anything...The old Remington ammo plant is down the road a  piece..and they are running 24/7...

Blue if you think you'll ever want to remove it and red if you don't. Most brakes I've seen were set with red loc-tite.

Nice group. My next butcher job will be a faux drag with carry handle, a SAW (Semi Auto Weapon  8)) PAX

This brake came on my 50 barreled receiver....it was red locktited on. Until GM convinced me to blow torch it...I was certain it was set with solder.  I turned a few allen wrenches into Twizzlers before torching it. :)

The issue is mostly whether I want to make it 'permanent'.  It looks friggin awesome on a sporter....but it also doesn't rely on having a front sight.  I have
Choate and Ram-Line brakes I really like too that do require it. I only have two guns without either sights at all, or a bayonet mount.  I am kinda tempted to ditch my faux Capco brake and put my front sight back on the /906\.
