She's definitely a looker Pat and every bit as nice as mine!

I'd be hard pressed to tell you which Chinese SKS is better built than an M8.  I don't love the metal finish on mine, it's not the lustrous blue that I'd like, but that's nitpicking and is about the only think I can think of that I really don't care for on it!

Let us know how she shoots!

Hi RM.....did you notice the factory stamp behind the M8? Looks like the security forces factory stamp with the same exact finish on the bolt carrier.....Interesting!

I hadn't..and still don't?  Do you mean the this stamp:

Where do you see it, covered over by the "M8" stamping?

The bolt carriers are most certainly unique.  Like a bead blast finish, very dull grey.

I hate to admit it....but I am selling this one, so I'm not going to fire it.......I know...I know....

I know of a commercial SKS guru who would simply love to have that example!    Even if you wind up listing it, I'm sure you'll get a good price if you detail it well on GB!  It's not a very common carbine after all.  Unfortunately, it doesn't have the same following or recognition as a NA Farmer's Friend or the like.  Most simply think it's a nothing special bayo delete exporter bubba-type mod.

I have never seen one of these in person but have noticed they are all pinnrd barrels.  Why would you scrub brand new receivers.  More mysteries from are friends in China. Both sides of this receiver are scrubbed.  The triangle can clearly bee seen under the M8 on the left side. Check out the mark above the y in Clay on the right side. I guess it's time to rewrite this page of the history book.

Ahh I see the triangle stamp now that I'm on the phone!!!  I totally didn't see it on the CPU.  Very interesting indeed.  In still not seeing the public security stamp on the right side though. What letter is it near, the Y in Claycenter?

Sorry RM....not the actual security forces stamp....the factory stamp that they're from.....416 err whatever it is. Interesting indeed on the scrubbing.....

Yes there are marks over the y and the e in claycenter. You have to zoom in

I dont see crap.            unless is crazy faint due to a scrubbing or something.

Weird thing....I took a bunch more pics of both sides....and couldn't see anything else on either side of the receiver.....I'll try again with natural light tomorrow.
