Yeah,I measured my pinned Labanu Sporter and it is 8-7/8" to the edge of the cross bolt.The Type 56 short lug screwed-in rifle is 9" if that helps.

I disassembled the rifle and took this picture for you:

I put this one back together before I could measure it, the rifle is so new that the trigger group has to be gently tapped into the receiver (forward) before it will "click" into place, and it (trigger) is a pain to remove also!

Keep an eye on Ebay, that is where I found my two I needed for restoration, but it took some time before I found what I needed.
