Wow, that is a helluva deal on the chest rig/drop case combo.
Had I not just got into a project, I would stock up...maybe some will still be available later.
I am assuming this is via China though correct?  Shipping could be just shy of eternal...it's been pretty spotty. Longer time for any cooties to die though.

Shipping is usually  2 or 3 weeks, it's no different from ordering Chinese stuff on Amazon or Ebay, it all comes from China. The difference is that it's cheaper buying directly from China.

I do have a bunch of stuff inbound from Canada currently though...we shall see how customs is handling things.  This is a considerably better deal that most eBay sellers offer though.

I beg to differ. I have never had anything come from China directly that didn't take at least 1 month. I have made an order from Russia and another one from Ukraine this last month and both arrived in less than 2 weeks.

This has been over years, not just now. And actually, at least here in the US, there has(or had) been some controversy over AliExpress(which is a HongKong based, Chinese version of Ebay) and subsequently Ebay International avoiding paying Tariffs on items imported to the US due to a loophole of coming in individually through the mail system and also avoiding some of the quarantine measures to assure safety measures and processes were taken care of. They may have gotten this all taken care of by now and I imagine they probably have, if there was really an issue behind it all. It just soured me to buying anything direct out of China.

I do quite well the way I do things, and your display of your order only means that they are smart enough to put in a disclaimer so you are the one getting stuck paying the tariff instead of them if customs does hold it up.

I have never paid a penny to customs, they know it's not worth their while...  I never bring in a big order, just small ones, sometimes lot's of small ones. It does not cost me any extra as I'm not paying for the shipping.

The demeanor of your posts tend to remind me of when I drank considerably more than I do now...which, is most of the day. Things I would say would kind of seem too harsh, therefore I was kicked off of sksboards, twice.  I tend to be a bit of a wise ass, but I try to not be mean for the sake of trying to get a laugh.  Folk around here would likely consider me a bit of a doof from time to time...we are kind of based on a collective of folk kicked off of sksboards, for various reasons.  Thankfully a lot for SKS related ideology, Mine I will own up to...I was kind of being an asshole sometimes... I haven't bothered with them for many years...nor have I bothered them either, I am better for it...they can just be as special as they want to be.  If this kind of stuff is being tolerated over there now, maybe the folks that were so obtuse are not paying attention anymore...or there at all, but I still won't bother with them.  If you paid for access to their members only area, I suspect there is an ongoing thread about you.

Regardless, you have been spanked nicely and given a second chance at simmering down a bit...your return seemed to be a bit calmer, but today seems to be back to being obnoxious for the sake of rattling cages. Quit it dude.

Thanks again for posting the temptation, but I do agree with GG in that paying a bit more to not have to deal with US/China shipping snafu's....is worth not direct dealings with China/Hong Kong... If I could buy a dozen drop cases for fifty bucks with free shipping...I would totally bite, but despite leaving the tabs open for both links in your original post, I am now closing them.  (I do think the pouches are nice, but a tad spendy...anyway.)
