KILLDOZER

I gave up trying to find some comparison photos of long and short collars, as well as the actual lengths of both. (I'm messaging with a guy out of state, via Armslist, and we're trying to establish stock compatibility).
I thought this ('63 arsenal-26 para) rifle I have is a long collar,
but now I'm not so sure (it's 1 1/16" long).
Any solid info and/or links are much appreciated.....

EDIT: Stand down, I got what I need. The guy I'm dealing with came up with the info, apparently I do have a long collar (as I thought), which is 1 1/16" long, and the short collars measure 5/8" (according to his measurements).

I have a 1976 Chicom short-lug and it measures 13/16" in total length,That's from the receiver to the leading edge of the radius on the lug.My other rifle is pressed and pinned barrel from 1993 production run.

I don't know if it's the arsenal or what, but I've had mixed results swapping furniture with the various barrel shanks. Some rifles fit solid, but if you look at the cut in the wood, it's obvious that it's for something different, compared to unmolested actions. PAX
