I am considering selling my gun but would like an accurate value and background of it. I believe it to be a numbers matching preban norinco sks. It is unshot, in the original box with all original accessories. If I am wrong on my info or need more info to determine value please let me know.

Nice rifle, 240sleeper! You have a Chinese Type 56, made at arsenal /26\ in 1963. It was imported by KSI and is equiped with the infamous "Rail to Nowhere" or "West Coast Rail". There are no available mounts for that scope mount rail but there are ways to use it if you wanted to do some machining on other mounts.

Others may post as far as value is concerned. One ding on price would be the bayonet mount has been neutered. It originally came with the blade bayonet. That is fixable, though. What are you looking to get for it?

Thanks for posting. It's nice to see well-preserved models still around.

I’m not 100% sure on value. Feel free to pm me an offer if you’re interested

Title got me excited.
But, alas, not a pre-ban, but rather a ban era rifle.

That said, it's gorgeous! It'll be quite an addition to a collection.
