Ill call this one #7
Picked this one up from classic firearms for $299.00 lots of character . seems to be all matching except for the gas tube.. a little rough some pitting in a couple of places but all in all not to bad ,so I thought id share some pics.
I love the way they look when there a little battle worn.....
not real sure about aging from SN
Let me know what you guys think..

Randy

It looks to be in better shape than the one I recently got.  thumb1

For these older rifles I too prefer a beat up stock (without major cracks of course). They are collectable but not of antique quality. I am also drawn to the darker stocks. The blonde stocks seem rather bland (blonde joke) in comparison.

I'm not a prepper nor a believer in any SHTF scenarios for my lifetime but if I'm wrong I don't want to have a pretty rifle at my disposal, I want one that works, works well, and isn't afraid to spend some time underground.  whistle12

Looks like you got a good deal on this one. I like the battle worn look, too. Classic just went out of stock, then started offering some cracked stock specials, but it looks like they're really hit or miss.

When did you pick up this one? And have you taken it to the range yet?
