Considering that looks to be a Sporter, otherwise known as an SKS-M (magazine capable), that's about the going rate, so you didn't do badly.  Looks like it came with at least one Chinese mag (rounded back rib) which go for more than the Com Bloc mags, you seem to have fared well.  Cheers, Bruce.

A thousand rounds of ammo (delivered) is nothing to sneeze at.
With prices the way they are recently, I'd say you did alright.

Got my eye on a chopped up, half beat to death Chicom SKS for a host.

The ~320 rounds in the bag looks to be brass cased Yugo M67.  Much more highly sought after then the WMC in the boxes as it is no longer reliably available at retail.   If you do keep it and shoot it, know that a good cleaning is in order afterwards as the primers are corrosive.
