New NVA carbine to add to the database...
« on: December 05, 2019, 06:40:15 PM »
It popped up on the other site, now with photos.

It's a mis-match, but non-matching parts appear to be from another NVA carbine that is also not on the list.

Serial 642720 on the  receiver, with mis-matched parts from carbine 642793.

The kicker: The carbine sold  for a mere $350 asking price at an LGS.

I saw, it's pretty cool. PAX

Can anyone post photos of it?  Non-members can't see photos at the 'other' boards.

My pleasure.

Looks like the stock may have been refinished.

Stock serial also looks like it could be a different number than the other two.

Possibly 642493?

I hadn't even noticed that. Sure doesn't look like a 7. Maybe a mistake in the original numbering they let go. Sure would be odd to perfectly match the last two digits of the other replacement parts like that, but i guess anything is possible regardless if itís not probable.
