Once and for all!

I was at the gun shop buying my second Chinese SKS of these recent imports and had a slightly troublesome conversion with a Know-it-all Firearms Commando that is always hanging around. I have seen this guy at a few different gun shops just yacking away.  He kept on insisting that the Chinese SKS I was buying was a Chinese Norinco. 

Are all Chinese SKS's Norinco SKS's or is "Norinco" the name for the commercial export Branch of the Chinese communist government? I kept on telling him that these were Military surplus, actually issued to military personnel. I also told him Norinco SKS were made exclusively for foreign export.

Am I correct, is he correct or are we both a little correct? Thoughts...? Thanks.

JorgeSKS, if you're happy with your SKS does it matter? I can't help you with the argument so read what GM provided. That would be best for future and knowledge. In fact, I'm about to read it myself.
