Hey guys, I just won this ghost on GB and was wondering if anyone has ever seen a rack number like this and where it originated from? I'll try to post pics of the whole rifle tomorrow. Serial # 12349

Its likely from one of the imports from Albania.....   import stamp will confirm.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

The import stamp is I.O. MONROE, NC

Thanks LC. I don't know how high their rack system goes but it would be interesting to see another one, or maybe even buy one.

No telling why some are seemingly rack numbered.  I would think in a situation where they are retired in the same assigned place often.  Like guard weapons.

I have an Albanian with painted #45

I've seen a few other green rack numbers on stocks of the SinoBanians.  I'll see if I can dredge up some photos during lunch today & we can compare.  thumb1

Thanks RM. Looking forward to it.

The rifle is non-matching due to the gas tube. It is EP'd with 54396. Everything else matches including the ejector, rear sight, and piston. It would be interesting to find the receiver to match 54396. Any thoughts on what might have happened to it?

Not near as many as I'd hoped.  There are so many photos to go through (that I don't have marked with "rack number" or something obvious) that I'm certain I missed some.

This one is nice, I read it to say "114":

This green speck is a bit similar in color on a Russian "SinoBanian":

And this way of marking the interior stock is very non-Chinese, I've not seen any others like it:
