Thank you! I am very happy with it. The same people who sold me this are selling a few more collectable SKSs. I'm guessing they received someone's collection.

Dang, I went back to Joe's thread about his....and Photophucket screwed the pooch on that thread.
That was a /666\ to remember, but in a VERY different way.

Let's just say this is the first intact /666\ I have seen...imagine if Eddie from Iron Maiden had a custom SKS made for stage use during Number of the Beast...Joe's SKS would have been it. 

This is an arsenal I hope to come across some day.

I just noticed the buttplate showing damage behind the repair on the stock....I am figuring it didn't go well for the previous owner?

Yeah, I remember that /666\ with the custom stock. A different animal for sure. If I recall correctly it was a neutered para, but I may be wrong about that.

/666\s are out there, just few & far between. I've only seen three over the years. The custom stock para, one back in November(?) on gunbroker & this one. The one that sold in November is also a 1.4 mill, and only about 500 serials away from mine. It also had the same IC import mark. You can see the few pics I saved of it on my recent IC post. It was definitely loved, but not nearly as well used as mine was.

If I had just had the funds for it.. I wouldve snagged it. Wouldve been cool to have reunited them. Oh well. The fact that I found two /666\s for sale in just a couple month's time is surprising enough, especially after having surfed SKSs on GB for the past 5 years or so & never coming across a single one. I'm just glad I had the money this time.

A couple people on the 'other' boards claim to have a /666\ in their collections, but I've never seen pics to confirm.

The small buttplate damage & stock repair on mine probably go hand in hand. Couldve been anything really. Probably fell out of a truck or something. Lol
