You have no idea the depth of this truth.   :o

There were gun shows two weekends in a row.  Ten others found their way into the collection, and only two exited.

Here's one of them that I know you couldn't have resisted either, GM.

Stevens 416 US Property .22lr trainer, serial 200018 (eighteenth one off the assembly line.)  Still in the 'grease'.

Greasemonkey

Your right.. oh that's nice... drool2  we wants it, we needs it...... I would almost throw a 1919 Mosin up on the table chuckles1
I couldn't.. local crack shop had one, it was the store branded Ranger version, but the same as the Savage 416... Still had the peep sights..

It came down to that and who knows what else or the G43 Walther...

If they still had it, I would go get it... But my spidey senses say it's probably been drilled and tapped.....and overall......just fornicated all up  cry1

The Stevens was the pick of the day.  Love mine.    thumb1

Where the 200k starting point come from....  Batha book?  Is it USP roll stamped or just the FB?

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

I don't have any literature, but it is posted in several forums that there were 10,388 of them made from serial 200,000 to a little over 210,000.

It's on the net, so it must be true????    8)

And there were many picks of the day.  The most incredible was the China-Burma-India Theater Eddystone which was shortened at Ishapore Arsenal in India to equip the Chinese X-forces in their fight to re-open the Burma Road against the Japanese in 1943-44.

No pics of it yet.  But it is only about the fifth one on record back here in the States.  $275 and it was flying out the door.  I now have 40% of them.

Here's a few more goodies.

S&W Pre-Victory, nice, nice, nice.

French Army accepted Astra-Ruby

Rare Tropical Holster for the Luftwaffe DAK Afrikacorps, and a pretty nice Femaru 37m

And an ULTRA interesting Luftwaffe holster for the FN1922 with a Feldpost mailing address (52230) to the Commanding General of the Luftwaffe in Italy, Albert Kesselring.  The unissued condition FN1922 isn't too bad either.

And a few more

Tokarev TT33 non import, matching less mag
Smith Corona 03-A3, nice
Mosin Nagant M44, 1945 non-import, original matching non refurb
Mauser HSC, commercial, nice

The Eddystone was by far the best - unless I can tie the FN1922 directly to Kesselring via O.Vedder - still working on it.

running-man

Uh oh.  You hooked LC with that Femaru I bet, M08.  He's going to start salivating any moment now....  rofl2

Quite the two weekend haul :o The last couple of gun shows here in eastern Washington had three categories of milsurps available: over-priced, common, and sporterized, with a few scoring the trifecta  bat1 rofl

The M1917 sounds fascinating. I've never heard of that variant before.  The two German used pistols and holsters are both exceptional in their own way.
