Hello, just picked this up over the weekend.  /306\ Norinco Poly USA.

I don't think it's ever been fired.

Dino412

Sweet! It would look even better with a spike bayonet.

Phosphorus32

Very nice 1972 Type 56, congratulations! I agree with dino412, a spike bayonet would enhance its appearance  thumb1

Chicom sling, bayonet and ammo pouch are all headed this way.

And a case of 7.62...

Excellent!

If you ordered a case of standard recent production steel-cased ammo you might consider the following:

https://www.sgammo.com/product/surplus/200-round-pack-762x39-m67-non-magnetic-copper-fmj-brass-case-corrosive-yugo-surplus-

You'll get 20 quality stripper clips with your good M67 ammo (you will have to clean bore and gas system for corrosive salt residue after firing).

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

SkooterTrash

I've been trying to post pics with the sling and bayonet, but it keeps giving error msg.

Hey look, another 56 with sling and spike bayonet lol!

Thanks!   I found another sling I like better, with 7.62 and Chinese letters on it.

Justin Hell

Looking great!

One thing though....your bayonet is on upside down. :)

Loose}{Cannon

Oh yeah...  Looks much better!

Well hell, I think this thing might make one heck of a bug out setup.

:::smacking myself for not buying a dozen of these at $75 each:::

I'll post more on the ammo pouch when i find the thread for it...

Justin Hell

By 'upside down' I didn't mean not deployed. You do get an E for effort there though. :P

The single lobe side should fit into the stock ferrule notch when closed...and conversely the two lobed side should fit flush with the bottom of the stock when closed.

You have a fifty/fifty chance of getting it right on the first try... :)

You need to take it off, and flip it 180 degrees from it's current position inside the bayonet handle.... and then reattach...basically, the only other way it can go.

Get a cleaning rod in there and you will be set. thumb1
