I picked this up awhile back at a gun show.  I suppose the stock art was inspired by Frank Iannamico's title for his excellent book  AK-47 The Grim Reaper.   Polish AKM made in 1972.  Excellent shooter and needless to say the art work on the stocks gets attention.  I guess I best not use this for home defense, I can imagine what an overzealous PC prosecutor would make of the looks of the beast.

This is on the forearm on the other side.

Nice Polish AK! What receiver was used? I think the Polish kits were some of the best offered. I have a couple Polish AK's that were put together by Global Trades about ten years ago. They used their own receivers. I opted for the 6 milimeter thick receiver for strength overkill. And they matched my Receiver SN to the kit SN, so I like that. I have a couple more Polish kits to have assembled. I think I want at least one put together as the PMKMS Underfolder.

How's it shoot? Any problems at first?
