Here's the commercial list from the latest month.  Market doesn't really change all that much on these.

Looks like the market is still stagnant on these, only 2 more than last month, second lowest month of the year.

^ This is a really nice complete Farmer's Friend. With proper scope, and rubber eye piece. There were less than 800 known to be made. They do come up now and then, but rarely this complete. This is the highest I've seen one sell for, but considering less complete ones have broken the $1000 mark, I think this price is not really out of line.

^ I'm pretty sure this is a K-sports Hunter. It's got the hole pattern for the rail to knowhere, and it's got the same FSB that is seen on the Parka Paras.

^ I wish we could removed the term "Sino-Soviet" from the internet. Additionally, I really question that being an original serial. That receiver has been scrubbed.

^ I'll be honest.... I am glad to see the value of this gun going way up. IMO, this is one of the most collectible commercial guns there is, and it's the MOST factory modified model of SKS. I just sold mine privately, and it wasn't much less than that.

According to Joe's notes, C&A is actually D.I.G., which also explains the same VA Beach VA markings. C&A import marks have also been seen stamped as "C8A" instead of C&A. As for the serial, the receiver is scrubbed, so it's been re-serialed, obviously in 1993. I have seen them EP'd as well as stamped.

You know, from a sample size of three I have to say that it it theoretically possible that they scrubbed the original receiver and renumbered it. In all three instances the receiver and related parts all seem to be from the correct era... would be interesting to know if this one is a Briklee import like the other two I have seen.
Mine is the only one of the three to have the "restamped" serial modified slightly , with a 0 in place of the C.

Also, look what Bubba did to get that pinned barrel stock to fit the lug...

Yeah, by unique I mean a different stamp, not that the company hasn't been seen before.  That stamp and the S/N method are pretty unique (and neat). All the previous C&As I've seen had proper S/Ns, this one having an EP'd number is sonething I've never seen before.   Was just wondering if you ever saw similar.  I've seen Navy Arms guns where the mid-rail scope mount covers the S/N and the identical S/N is applied via electropencil elsewhere on the receiver.

Guess what? I've got one of these in the database that's 400 unit away serial wise, with the same exact stamp, and the same EPd serial that was clearly done by the same person. If you also notice, that's one of the C&A guns that we just talked about in echo1's thread with the unique stock.
