I'm looking at a factory 26 rifle with a French Tickler handguard and a 26M serial number. Just how rare is the last year of production?

Sure it's a 26 mil? French tickler was 23/24 mil. We've seen 3  25 mil /26\, but none have been french tickler. Never seen a 26 mil /26\.

Not rare at all.  They are very well made and nice looking typically though.  If it's numbers matching and in good shape $350 to $400 is a good price.
