Sighting in

Read some recent posts about correct sighting in of SKS AND AK rifles. Here is one of the best posts I've seen. Well thats very interesting.  Who here knows if the sks sight is the same size?
If i can measure an accurate 100m i will have to try this before the snow melts.

SKS front sight post is the same. I have a picture on my phone that I took a while back showing my front sight post under the 8" black  targets on white paper I shoot at 100 yards. The sight post is just about the same width as the 8" target at 100 yards, which would back up the article saying the AK/SKS front sight post being 9" wide at 100 yards.

Definitely an interesting read!
