Well, finally received that crate of ammo from SGAmmo today.  This is the yugo stuff on stripper clips.  Wanted a good supply of strippers and this seemed like the best way.  All the after market clips seem be junk so goes the general consensus and you can't find anything else (at least I didn't).  Posting some pics of what I received from SG so anyone else ordering has an idea of what you'll be getting.

This the ammo link at SG:

Pics of what arrive and headstamp follow:

Looks like some good stuff.  Looking forward to sending a ton down range.  Got the SKS stripped and cleaned.  Trying to get the stock cleaned up a bit before reassembling and heading to the range.

Very nice!  You'll be happy with the M67 strippers, they are head and shoulders better than much of the NC star Chinese aftermarket stuff.  The 1120 count crates w/strippers are not nearly as common as they once were, but they are still around at various places.  The 1260 round crates (15 per box, no strippers) are next to impossible to find now.

SG sure seems to have had quite a bit of this stuff in stock as they've been selling it non-stop for the better part of a year and a half now.  thumb1

I guess it's a safe determination from the headstamp and lot codes this was manufactured August 26, 1977.   So, 40 years old this year.  The cartridges are on the strippers nice and secure.  No falling off when you shake 'em around.  I couldn't find anyone with anything decent to say about any of aftermarket ones.   cry1

No, there's no aftermarket stripper clips that are worth buying.
I few years ago i brought 100 on ebay all BxN marked from the Czech republic and sold the extras to friends.
