Going through the December GB reports and doinn the Russians now.  I though this one was pretty interesting:

I first I thought someone must have mirrored the image from left to right, but then I noticed the text is correct and there are these:

Someone took off that takedown lever (notice the scope mount in image 13) but then when trying to get the rifle back to stock, inserted the takedown lever into the left side instead of the right.  So we have an 'inverted left-hand' takedown lever on a Russian!  I have no idea how it even holds as there is no detent for the dimple to settle into.  You see something new all the time, this one was a first for me!  dance2

Ok.. It's Russian...so are what look like 2 different refurb stamps normal?

It's a take down lever for southpaw Russians.. chuckles1
I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

I said I was an addict........I didn't say I had a problem

Yeah, multiple refurb stamps on a single gun from different facilities is not necessarily common, but not exactly rare either.   thumb1

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Well at least, if it was receiver cover scope mount un-do, must have been the original perpetrator, for the correct cover to be there. How many SKS have the matching  numbered cover gone missing, too many. PAX
