I've always admired, (lusted after, actually), the Chinese NDM-86 Sniper Rifle in 7.62x54r! If you can't have a Tiger Dragunov, love yourself a NDM-86!

Anybody ever see these "Deluxe Package" deals brought in by Kengs? (KSI) Better yet, anybody here have one? Okay, now sell me one!  :)

Velvet lined hard cases with each piece and accessory fitted into the case.

Beautiful rifles and accurate too!

Another example of the NDM-86 in Original Box with canvas soft rifle case and three magazines.

I'd really like to find one to buy for the Chinese collection. Hey, a guy's gotta dream!

***All pics and info were taken from Dragunov.net Thanks guys!

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

thumb1 I've run across two NDM-86s, two separate times at the Chantilly Gun Show, the big $$$ show in northern Va....just the rifle, scope and 2 mags and a sling with NO sexy case or anything else.. and both of those setups were in the $4-$5000 range(several years ago), I can only imagine what the full monty with case and all accessorys goes for. It's a very impressive beast when you first lay your eyes on it. Oh how I would love to have one. A Russian Dragonov would be sweet to, near as I can figure those bring even higher money, well into the 6000+ dollar range.
I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

I said I was an addict........I didn't say I had a problem

Wonder if I could get enough for a couple of my kids (they are grown) to cover the cost of one of these?!  ;)

Oh yeah..... drool2  This puppy has been on the ultra lucky/lotto list for years and will stay there for sure. Last NIB 1 with all the stuff I saw was in the $8000 range. Not alot of these made it here back in the day.

Danny, I hadn't seen the deluxe version like this before, either. Call it progressive thinking or OCD, I saw a post by RM on some AK magazine ID pictures that had some Chinese Type 63 magazines mislabeled as Type 86 mags. Couldn't remember the Type 86, so, I googled "Chinese Type 86" and found the write-up on Dragunov.net.
IIRC, I saw those Type 86's (rifles only) on tables "in the early days" for about $800.00 and thought they were too rich for my blood. We were buying everything else so dirt cheap. Now, I wish I had spent the 8 Benjamin's.  cry1

The last time I saw either an NMD-86 or a SVD they were both north of $15k about 6 months ago and that was minus all the goodies.  Prices have been steadily climbing on these bad boys.
