It's Ent wood, the stocks were made by the Yugoslavian Orcs, might be Beechbone, Bregalad, Fimbrethil, Finglas or Fladrif. Might need to ask Fangorn, or Treebeard which stock is made from who, if he made it out.. 

I'm sure the wood is from Middle-earth forest and ain't that fake crap your shoveling

Thanks for the lesson on all your different types of woods gentlemen ..  Im pressed to get one of these things before there gone. As you may know the pic is from Dans ammo and yes the darker M59 has me leaning that way. Besides my last M59 was the lighter color and my other two are one light and one dark. Ok Now I have a couple questions. Here is Dans description of the batch for sale...___

Yugoslav M.59 carbine 7.62x39. A rare find! A small number of these found in various Serbian police stations. This particular surplus lot appears to be in very good condition - all matching numbers- original, not refurbished. With accessories.

In the pic if you enlarge it,it looks like at the bottom of the stock is a yugo referb mark is that right ? So I believe it is a referb and someone please correct me if im wrong. Also in other pictures on the site I  can see EP marked parts so wouldnt that also be an indication of referb. ? Or would they come out of the factory like that ?

These marks on the stock and ep on some parts wouldn't disqualify buying one..but if they are referbed and sold as non referbed who knows if they are all matching as advertised ? Which would disqualify-from buying one if they weren't..

Ok... I went and looked.. not all the pictures will load, but, I see less of the darker wood stocks than the other everyday types. Also...it looks like most, at least the ones showing their butts right have the TRZ.1 stamps on the butt stocks, guess that might blow the nonfurbish stuff off.

My bad GM I should have said click my op Picture to enlarge .. Its still hard to see but where they are stamped is exactly where the TRZ1 is usually stamped. I think im going to roll the dice on them to be all matching because there will probably be a day this November where I will be glad I did.  All matching M59 consists of Reciever, Bolt Carrier, Bolt, and Stock.. Right ?


One would think that as many Yugos as that store has sold they would know the difference between re ferb and non. Unless they do it on purpus lol IDK.

I'll be honest.. even if it were mismatched on a part or two, one key thing....they ain't made no more, second key thing....they ain't getting any newer..or cheaper.

Refurbed or not refurbed, matchy or un matchy, it's a fairly uncommon variant that get little press when you look at the field.

Now.. I would be curious to know if there is a "B" series in the mess, maybe a "A" or no letter series..

Buy what ever makes your Cintas drawers move and dance about, don't buy based off speculation of something that may or may not even happen.

It's going to be a C block gun.  Dan pulls B blocks from the lot and advertises them as such (while not charging all that much extra I do believe, Dan is a 100% class act).

Not so fast there GM grasshopper.. remember I live here in Ca, so I wont get it for about 15 - 18 days. Shipping plus the 10 day wait.   BUT ! I orderd Two of the darkest Yugos they had by request. The gal  said she thought that the darker ones were all that was left. I said I wanted the darkest if possible.. My FFL sent all his info and I got a email a short while ago from Dans stating they have been sent..All in a day while I was getting paid,,, I will post up detaild pics when they get here... Yea yea thats what they all say
