562523224   Chinese Norinco Type 56 Paratrooper SKS 7.62x39   6   $449.99    Paratrooper   As-Imported   Good   I don't understand how the seller knows this gun is a 'post ban factory 156' production.  It started life as a letter gun, D1911 as all the subcomponents are marked in this way. Receiver was scrubbed and subsequently stamped 01911.  The FSB has been replaced with a late version and the bayonet is now a spike instead of a blade, but everything else including the long barrel lug scream early build for the original gun.  I would not be comfortable assigning this gun to a 1990 build/import date.

Heck...  just re-chrome it.   Done.    Mexican chrome shops here in TX can have that done in an hour for like $15

I was watching many of those auctions. I was pretty blown away at how much the green Parka Para went for. xxxsksjoe has said they are very rare, I just didn't realize they were that valuable. Good to know since I own one! It's my favorite SKS to shoot too!

Wait till next month's lists.... lots of really good ones.

Auction #568256799 was an SKSS. I hit the buy it now at $450 soon after it was listed. Picked it up the other day and it is excellent. I was in on the other SKSS in the list above until it went crazy and sold for over $700.
