Need help dating model 1894

Is there any diehard Winchester collectors here? I just bought this today but there is no serial number pic so I have no idea what year it is and it would be cool to know!! Just going off what little I know it looks to be a pre 64.

Nice!    No expert, but I've been looking at these off and on for about a year.  I still haven't picked one up yet.

Nothing about that looks like the sintered molding process '64+ versions. The bluing looks nice and evenly toned in that second pic.

Thats what I thought, but after looking around it seems its not as hard to find as one might expect....Remington, Winchester, Hornady, and Federal all make .32 winchester special.....can get it for about $1.20 a round.

I paid 380 for it, I didn't think that was too out of line. I don't know much about them and the description was absolute crap like normal.

I think that's a great price. 

Somehow I read .32 WCF not .32 WS.  Yeah, much better shape there.

Nice   I would say 380 for a true "Winchester" was a dang good price, most I see locally float in the 4 to 550 even on up price range. What you paid is more like a made by Marlin "Glenfield" .30-30 price in these parts.

Interesting round, I've seen the .32WS ammo locally, but never messed with it. It kinda spurred my interest, kind of a tad more ummph than a .30-30 and less recoil than the .30-40 Krag.  I never would have thought the .30-40 had excessive recoil.

Thanks sir. My Dad had a pre 64 years back, bought it new in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1963...traded it for a boat motor.
