Greetings!  Thought I'd post a pic of my new sks.  When I first bought it, I didn't know anything about these rifles.  I was in a gun shop just looking around.  There was two older wood stock sks's (Chinese) and this sks-m with a plastic stock.  A friend of mine was using an sks while hog hunting recently and I thought it was pretty cool.  I had been looking for a good hog hunting rifle, and the gentlemen at the gun shop pointed at the the sks-m and said "that's a hog killer right there".  It made since to me.  Cheap ammo, short barrel, 30 round mag, light and easy to carry while spot and stalking in the brush.  I took to the range to sight it in, the gunsmith told me it's a paratrooper.  Are all sks-m paratroopers because of shorter barrel? Thanks for any help. Cheers🍻

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."
