Only 3 Romys this month.  I still consider the Romy to be the best value in SKSs today.  They are built like tanks, even if they trend a bit uglier then their brethren.

Lowest Sale Price: $310.00
Avg. Sale Price: $475.33
Highest Sale Price: $656.00
As-Issued Avg. Price: $N/A

Please let me know any feedback (good or bad) to these.

If you have an objection or observation to add to anything I've listed, by all means call it out.  Let's look at it long and hard (I only look at each listing for a minute or two at most) and maybe everyone can learn a thing or two!  thumb1

546559509   cugir romanian sks yugo norinco chinese NR PENNY   24   $310.00    1960   Bubba   Fair   Interesting that they say that the RSL needs a new spring.  This is *way* too common a problem in Romys to be a coincidence.  There is some kind of clearance issue with the springs, RSL, and RSB in these carbines.

547243179   Romanian SKS Type 56 , 1958 Cugir   13   $656.00    1958   Refurbished   Good   It's a nice gun, but $650?!  Man I'd have a hard time shelling out that kind of $$ for this particular gun.  If it was as-issued, perhaps, but this one obviously isn't.

548634909   Romanian 1957 SKS, Matching, No reserve.   22   $460.00    1957   Refurbished   Fair   Looks like a bit of finish wear on this one along with that restamped stock.  Not a bad looker at all, and a relatively decent price.

I need a 57  :) Can a vertical number on the Romy stock without restamp be classified as non referb ?

If it has the letter prefix with the S/N going like this, it could be as-issued:

If it looks like this (either with or without letter prefix) it's likely a refurb:

Wow! People must have really wanted a Romy. $650 seems way too high even figuring in the correct sling and $460 seems high for a non-matching in that condition. I wonder how Bubba managed to lose the sight leaf spring?

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.
