I'm going light on the RM notes on these to start out 2016.  To be honest, 2015 burned me out on Chinese SKSs on Gunbroker.  It was just bubba after bubba after bubba.  I was able to get through these ones w/o much difficulty but still am able to compile all the data and find those odd ball guns that really add to the database (like the final DP gun in this list!  )

Anywhoo, we have 107 guns changing hands this month.

These Chinese are definitely going up in price.  Perhaps the last of the retail offerings of these Chinese "by way of Albania" Type 56s are now $330 or $360 with hand select at J&G.

I love the Bravo Sierra being tossed by that guy discussing the DP in the middle of the list.  Aren't these the same DPs with the somewhat crude cast gas blocks?

The (Y)Y-ZZXXXXX S/N's are all out of /?5\ arsenal.  The A in front of the first one is an exporter (or importer, though I believe exporter) applied additional stamp.  Many have an extra letter either before, after, or not even associated with the S/N.  Some have the letters completely covering the arsenal stamp.  The letters are most certainly not originally stamped at /?5\ arsenal.    They are vey consistent and we discuss them in great detail in http://sks-files.com/index.php?topic=154.0

It basically boils down to: the first two digits appear to be a month code.  The next two are the nth year code. The final five are the incremental S/N going from 00001 to ~20k per year.   I have only ever found one that doesn't conform to the pattern we documented in the link above, and that one is easily explained as a new year 18 increment that got screwed up and the "1" month code was left out and the year code placed in front of the dash (basically human error).
