MEBears

I was looking at the $500 Hi-Points on one of the local FB pages and stumbled upon this yesterday. It had been up for a little while and had already caught a few guys attention so I figured it was gone. I messaged the guy and he said he still had it, first person to show up gets it. I had to work and he was two hours away so I had to wait. Luckily he still had it today so we met up and I grabbed it. It's an all matching 8 mil series CC is in great shape. I only had time for a few pics today but hopefully I can go over it tomorrow. I bought it from a friend of the original owner and he said it wasn't shot much. The scope is nice and clear.

Beautiful sks MEBears!  I hope to find one in that shape one day!

John Galt
When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."

Here are some pics of the rifle and the modifications done. It was made from a mix of parts. The barrel and receiver seem to match and it has a blade ferrule but the rsl looks like a replacement marked with a D and the gas tube is a non matching two piece. It has a milled trigger group. The unnumbered stock has a filled in groove for a spike bayo and bottom swivel. It looks like a crack was filled in on the side of the butt.

I got a little bored stuck inside with the crappy weather. Hopefully I'll get to try her out tomorrow. The wife says the LJ stands for Lisa and Jim so I was meant to have it.  :)) I'm not going to argue. chuckles1

Yup, this one is quickly becoming my precious. I don't see this one going up for sale any time soon.

The clip on the back of the rail will can break off . Be gentle with it.

Wood filler is very common on the stocks of these rifles.

Thank you for an excellent thread. Can I use a couple of these picks on the Guide?
