With this  particular carbine purchase I didn't hesitate to throw down the cash for as its a low production, collectible Item and was pretty good looking  ;) And now I am the proud owner of a piece of a little collectible history. I picked up this carbine locally and a little over a month ago so it's about time to show some pics! With due respect for the new kid on the block, I chose to wait awhile and respect the Slovenian Honor Guard Army with time to march through. Now Ill let some pics finish the story..My firsy time taking pics of a chrome gun and these pics do no justice for the gun compared to a live view 8)  Enjoy.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

I believe he was talking about the 8-milion range serial number

Loose}{Cannon

Yup...   8m 1962 serial.

If you really wanna change your name to KoolKerry, let me know.

Laff...   some peoples children on other forums say these are fake, copy, Mitchell Mauser type things and are misinterpreting/twisting the wording on the certificate itself.   :-X

Never dreamed that such a straight up Chinese Honor Guard could become such a topic of contention.  Of course it is altered/gussied-up/certified on paper.  That's what sets it apart!

One of the better examples out there, DC, or KK, or Mitchell, or whoever the heck you are...    :)

Nice!

Bucket list material for me too, but I am going to hold off until I have a nice mantle to hang it over.  Maybe some track lighting in an otherwise darkened room.  :)

I have wondered, do these show any sign of cosmoline preservation or did they come dry and pretty? They are all /26\ pre 64's aren't they?

Very Nice. Something I am a little confused on the serial # is 8064996, everything else appears to be marked J4996? What is with that? And what are the chances they find a J letter series with the same last for to the 8 mil serial # on the receiver?
I am confused  wacko1

Loose}{Cannon

Wow...  I didn't even notice that.  First for me.
