M59 from 1964 followed me home

My son bought this today thinking it was a russian or chinese only to find out it was an M59. We own an operate Rust Armament - A gun shop in Phillipsburg, KS. He got it with his birthday money for $200. I think it is a decent deal. But perhaps you can inform me of its value.


Serialized parts are only the receiver and the stock. Is this normal for Yogos? It has a name carved on the stock "Jarov" which seems to be a town in that part of the world. Any info is appreciated. It is a Century arms imported gun.

Heck $200 is a good deal for a mismatched shooter Chinese these days. It's a great deal for an M59 

SNs typically on the receiver, stock, bolt, bolt carrier, underside of the receiver cover, and trigger guard.

century's stamp say 59/66 - ugh!

Seems like century's stamp is a misprint. That M59 appears authentic ! add a cleaning rod and she's good to go ! Maybe Inspect the inside of the bbl for some corrosion. But thats a solid soldier right there

It is missing the lower sling attachment and cleaning rod. Where is the best place to find these?

The other markings you've shown are all part numbers or the Cyrillic BK (Vojna Kontrola) "military control" stamp.
