You can guess from the title that my Dad is pretty excited when I am in the local newspaper and not on the police blotter page. Actually I am a pretty good guy, haven't been to jail for assault in a few months  Besplode

So the old man runs across this SKS in a local Texoma pawn and gun store. Sends it home with me to de cosmoline and install in a Tapco stock. Looks like we are running into a problem, this rifle is to nice to bastardize with a plastic stock. Gonna have to tell him no dice on the plastic stock, just deal with it the way it is.
Or I could buy him out of the rifle, really don't have the money ( gonna end up with the rifle) . What a connundrumm, yep either way I go I am gonna piss off the old man !

Haven't decided but he really wants a Ruger American rifle in .308 so I may work that angle.

Rolled up some 7.62x39 for my buddies Ruger American rifle and got the groups to 1 inch at 100 yards, He was very happy. Now he has me working on this 300 blackout round, not much of a round in my opinon, sub sonic but only good to about 50 yards. But hey if that is what he is after I will make him all he wants .

27.5 gr H322, federal #210 primer and Hornady # 26087 bullet. 2.200 OAL
